Brilliant

Satan actually says "the power of Christ compels you", which is a line from the Exorcist (to correct the review below).
Laughter, tears and cold sweats, this short's got it all !

Not much

There isn't much there but I can see a shred of talent.

Amazing work !

And it's not even the best of the series.
I urge viewers to find out for themselves and check out the other episodes.

Not really funny ...

except for the background action in the TV screen.
Leaving aside the humour, which is more a matter of personal taste anyway, this could have gained a lot from a better finish, more attention to details. For instance the mouths are just vibrating squares. Not good for a movie that relies heavily on dialogues.

[The Greatest Day]

Meaningful

Graphics, music, animation are not amazing but still good and well put together.
I love the story. The same old questions raised in Greek theatres of ancient times, like the meaning of life or ambition ... dealt with explosive humour.
Bravo !

Not bad ...

Decent script. Not too sure what to make of the "facial features" of these animated objects. The graphics are not really my cup of tea, really. Humour and acting still manage to shine through despite the computer voices.
I nearly laughed.

Well I guess that's fair.

The concept of inanimate objects with objects as faces was introduced by the Clockcrew back in 2002. Locklegion copied this concept with locks as faces. It's a pretty big sub-culture within Newgrounds, and I understand that lack of knowledge on this culture will ruin the experience of the flash.

Go look it up though, some stuff is really worth watching ( by both Clockcrew and Locklegion )

Good short

I love this minimalist style. Voices and acting are great.
Not to mention the story that goes from one disappointment to another with an anticlimax at the end. It takes a very patient bear to achieve this amount of comedy.

Well done ... to the bear I mean.

Bring a psychotic devil in boring suburbia and put him in trivial situations, that's what you get : hilarious comedy !
Top voice acting too.

I'll think twice before putting a sock on a devil's horn now !

Creme de la creme

Simply amazing. The story's not really original, but it's not about the story : it's about how it's told.
Brillant graphics, animations and special effects. Music and voice acting are in perfect harmony with the visuals.
Above all, very good pacing between humour and drama, the kind of mise-en-scene that would put to shame many multimillion dollar mainstream movies.
It's gonna be hard to outdo that one mate !
